Are your letterheads breaking the law?

By Fiona Humberstone, 4th Feb 2008

New laws came into force last year which require all companies and limited liability partnerships to make sure that their legal name is stated in legible lettering on all letters, order forms, invoices, receipts, websites and emails. Check now, are you complying with the law?

Unfortunately it doesn’t stop there: You’re also breaking the law if your letterheads don’t have the following printed on them:
Place of registration (England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland etc)
Your company registration number
Your registered office address

If you find that you’re breaking the law then talk to us – sharpish! And in February we’ll help make this process even more painless with our half price stationery packs.
