Client news… Run to Live awarded small business of the year!

I get a lot of satisfaction from working with business startups. There’s something so rewarding about creating an entire brand from scratch and working with the business owner as they take their baby from concept to substantial “proper business” territory. And the idealism and enthusiasm that comes as standard with most entrepreneurs looking to set up a business is infectious.

Run to Live are a business we first worked with about 2 1/2 years ago. Ex-Coppers and passionate runners Nicky and Alan had a dream to set up a running shop, and they approached us to create their brand identity. This was a fun one as I’m the daughter of two avid runners and so I had no problem understanding their customer. Their logo captures the excitement and adrenaline of running, and we hope has the ability to feel approachable to beginners (Nicky is very supportive of beginners) as well as being taken seriously by the pros.

You can see the branding and also a flyer we created for them here.

Both Nicky and Alan have created a fantastic business and so I was delighted when Nicky emailed me this week to let me know that Run to Live had been awarded Small Business of the Year at the Leatherhead Chamber of Commerce awards. Nicky said:

A big contributory factor to that is our amazing logo.  We’ve had so many compliments regarding it over the last two years.  So thank you so much for everything.

I know for a fact that the whole team have worked incredibly hard to create a great shopping experience for their clients, but it’s nice to know that we’re appreciated! Congratulations Alan, Nicky and the team.
