Great interactive mailer from Boden

I love much of Boden’s marketing: the way they’ve successfully created a loyal following of clients; the way they build rapport with their audience through the dialogue in their catalogues, emails and website. And the creative ways they market to their clients.
And this season’s catalogue is no exception. Absolute genius. My daughter and I sat down to crack the Boden code (cleverly coded using illustrations of some of the clothes in the catalogue) and reveal a joke. The point isn’t so much the joke or the code, or even the way it was executed. All of which were great. I think the real genius in all of this is that Boden have managed to get us to interact with them as a company. They’ve achieved buy in from a child, and as we all know, nothing is stronger than the pester power of children!
