Have you switched your business onto blogging yet?

In this post I gave you some ideas for low cost new year marketing techniques. As a recent convert to blogging I cannot emphasise enough how having a blog can seriously help you market your business. Blogging is quick and easy to do, it’s low cost and it’ll help you build a relationship with your customers and target audience. It’ll improve your search engine rankings and it helps you pass on your expertise to your readers.

So how did I get started? I’d been writing newsletters for my business for over a year, so I had a fair bit of material, which made things easier to take the plunge. The thing was that I wanted to find a way of sharing my knowledge with my customers as well as a marketing tool for my business. I tried an online newsletter archive, which was fine, but not very interactive or easy to update. Then a friend got me started on blogging, I did a little bit of research and an hour later, bam! I was ready to go!
