If you like pattern and colour then I have a feeling that you’re going to love this work in progress for Brindian. If you were lucky enough to attend Jamie’s Feastival in the summer you may well have already experienced Brindian – bold, gutsy food that fuses together traditional British and Indian (see what they’ve done there?) flavours. Jamies team loved the Brindian offering – so much so that they’ve invited the company back to Feastival next year, and if you keep your eyes peeled for the November issue of Jamie magazine you might just see a bit of a feature on the company in there too. They’re going to be big – just you wait.
The challenge with the Brindian branding was to create something that felt both British and Indian, but that most importantly had impact, confidence and style. Owner Paul McIntyre is an experienced and highly successful entrepreneur and has big plans for this new company. We needed to create a brand that had legs. One that could evolve and develop over time but one with instant wow factor for now.
We’ve combined “British” fonts with bold pattern and rich colours and I hope you like the finished result as much as we all do. James (who is fast emerging as the king of pattern) has done a corking job with these illustrations and patterns and they’ll look great on takeaway cups, napkins, bags, banners, flyers – the list goes on. This project was all about kicking off the brand identity and creating a single holding page in time for the Jamie article. Here goes – let us know what you think!
The brand elements are cute, relaxed and really engaging.
And the holding page as it might look on screen.
And the website design in full. Love to hear your thoughts! There are a few tweaks to come but it’s all exciting – we should have this baby live in the next week or two.
