In the studio this week… a brand new website for Band in the Buff
Excuse me if you’re eating your breakfast, prepare to look away now if you’re of a delicate disposition because this site is not for the faint hearted!
Band in the Buff are a band that play, yes, you guessed it, in the buff. The brainchild of our very own rock chick Sera Golding of Mib Music, Sera put the band together for fun parties: universities, 18ths, 21sts (maybe 40ths???) and some very open minded companies! The idea was always that Band in the Buff would be fun rather than sleazy and I hope that we’ve managed to capture this fun in the website.
I love the fun “rollovers” that Rob has done. I hear Matt Pereira had fun photographing the boys – something to do with a trampoline??? The mind boggles…
Sera has also written some fantastic copy – very chatty, straight to the point and entertaining. I love her ‘alternative’ menu names such as What’s The Crack, The Naked Truth and Bare Necessities. We have also inserted more understandable menu names alongside: About Us, What We Play etc.
The black and green keep the whole look strong, fun and impactful without being sleazy and the stars over the bands faces ensure the boys have a little bit of privacy across the interweb. So… anyone up for booking them for their Christmas party?
