We had a great day at the blogging workshop yesterday, some wonderfully inspiring business owners and great headway made. In a moment of rare modesty I showed the delegates lots of beautifully designed blogs from some of the world’s best bloggers. But what I didn’t show them was any of the blogs that we’ve designed at Flourish. So without further ado, here are five simple and stylish blogs hot off the Flourish press.

A simple, stylish and quick blog design for a weight loss specialist and image consultant.

I love the colours and energy that exudes from this blog. It perfectly captures Elizabeth in all her sparkling glory, and the warm and welcoming photograph of Elizabeth only adds to the mood.

Tom’s had many a blogger assume that he’s a 6-figure blogger thanks to this design. It perfectly encapsulates Tom’s brand of slightly esoteric with creative thinking and technical backup.

I’ve shown this one to you many a time. Beautiful, timeless and elegant; with a good pinch of romance thrown in.

I love the friendly images down the side (which neatly click back to the “team” pages on their website) and the gorgeous background image.

Looking really good! My new ‘Genius Posture’ Blog is waiting for you to help me with the design!

Even though I can put a web page & the odd graphic together, the benefit of outsourcing it to Fiona has been immense. I feel more confident about my web presence (which also matches with my bookmarks and indeed my book) and this has turned into real business.

I have one criticism, it’s this – she is far too cheap!! My advics is to give your existing blog a makeover or get your blog done before the prices go up to where they should be …

  3. Looking forward to it Linda! Thanks for dropping by

  4. Wow! thank you Tom. You’re very kind. It has been a pleasure to help you create something that truly represents who you are. Look forward to working together much more in the future.

  5. Hi Fiona (and Tom)
Thanks to you both for yesterday – a great day out and food for thought.
I formed a new URL in the middle of the night(!) with the intention of moving my blog in accordance with your advice, Fiona.
Could you give us a rough idea please how much you do charge for designing a blog?
    Thanks
    Judith

  6. You’re welcome Judith, it was really lovely to meet you yesterday. Exciting news on the URL! We base our fees on how long it will take us to create you something wonderful! Can I drop you an email with a guestimate?

  7. Somehow, the quality of a workshop (or any form of training) is measured over time. When I left your workshop on Thursday I thought it had been a good day. Having had two days to digest it I now think it was actually great! The combination of your honest, sincere and enthusiastic approach, your insights and powerful exercises is truly wonderful. The urge to complete the work in my in-tray so I can start blogging and tweeting is growing day by day!
As for your blog designs, Customer Essential I like – Amovita I like a lot. Obviously Tom’s blog stands apart not because it is pretty but because it responds to a specific and unusual brief together with your ability to have translated the brief into reality. Looking forward to seeing your next productions!

  8. How exciting! That’s exactly what we’d hoped for when we put the workshop on. Glad the inspiration & motivation is working, and I look forward to reading your first posts. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your Father’s Day.

Like Alain the few days that have passed since the workshop have resulted in further thoughts adding to my excitement at the opportunities you presented to us and my already high opinion of what we learned there.
For the second time this month you’ve made me energised and inspired Fiona; not only about how to exhibit profitably but how to blog in a way that delivers interesting and relevant content to those who read it while, at the same time presenting myself and my business more as I want to.
I really enjoyed the day and recommend it to anyone who has their own business. It’s extremely well worth the investment of your time and very good value.

  10. You’re very kind Kate, thank you! It was wonderful to see you again and I’m so glad that you’re inspired. I look forward to seeing you again soon. Have a fabulous holiday.
