Three logo concepts for Hidden Lily – have your say!

I think it’s about time you had a little vote on some branding gorgeousness don’t you?

Spottiswoode Toys are a very well established business who sell unusual childrens toys. You know, the gorgeous wooden and handmade ones that you’d be delighted to have around your home and hand down to your grandchildren (as opposed to plush stuffed animals in candy colours and cheap plastic trucks that break after the first play…). They have big ideas about where their business is headed next and that all starts with a delicious new logo design and brand identity. You’ll also notice they have a new name – Hidden Lily which I think reflects the enchanting nature of their product range and vision for their business.

The team presented the company with the initial concepts on Monday and they love them! But they would love your input too. So as usual, at the bottom of this post you’ll be able to vote on your favourite concept…

Concept One

Love the quirkiness of this and the beautiful watercolour patterns. These toys are definitely for pre-schoolers and I think this one definitely has that feel.

Concept Two

This concept taps into the imaginative side of the business. We see knights, princesses and fairy castles!

Concept Three

Fun and ever so slightly more corporate but still with plenty of quirks and personality.

Over to you

Which concept do you think works best for Hidden Lily. Have your say below! (We love your comments too so don’t forget to leave your thoughts below…)

I think concept 1 works best as it combines the ‘child feel’ (if you see what I mean) and is gender neutral (although concept 3 is gorgeous – they all are! – it looks more mature and adult-focused; and concept 2 has something a bit girly about it).

I went with concept 1, because overall I think it fitted best with everything you told us about the brand BUT as usual (!) I loved elements of all of them – the hand-drawn aspects of 2…wands, fairy wings, toy soldiers all spring to mind as developments, lots of scope. The logo is lovely, reminded me of Petit Bateau? And the quirky labels on 3 really caught my eye – beautiful packaging. I love the colour palette – is it Summer?? Great job, again. Really interested to know what Hidden Lily think…

I like option one because it’s the most playful and feels the most handmade which sounds like it should fit their concept nicely..
